Kendal and Kylie for Topshop

To say it has been a big week for Kardashian/Jenner clan would be an understatement. Yesterday morning Kimye announced they’re expecting their second child, rumours have sprouted about Khloe getting back together with Lamar and we were treated to a sneak peak of Vanity Fair’s history making front cover sporting Bruce Jenner transformed into his beautiful ‘true’ self, Caitlyn. Turns out it wasn’t Kimmy K that broke the internet, it was the stunning Caitlyn Jenner.

With these dramatic events it’s easy to forget the younger members of the family, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. However we would be foolish to do so. Amongst all the paparazzi worthy drama that comes along with the family, Kendall is busy blossoming in her modelling career and Kylie is rumoured to be releasing her first single with brother in law Kanye West.

The two are also up and comers in the world of fashion design. They have already had numerous successful collections for PacSun and now have designed their own collection for Topshop. With just one whole day to go before the launch I thought I’d give you all a sneak peak of the collection and the price range that will come along with it – a lot less than you’d expect!

As you can see from the pictures above the two teens have gone with a very boho style, fitting with their usually wardrobes. They’ve also included a few pieces that just ooze LA chic, floaty maxis and trenches in black and white, the only colours that exist in LA evidently.

In their statement Kendall and Kylie said: "When working on the inspiration, we very much wanted to capture the essence of our own lifestyles and create pieces that would fit perfectly into our wardrobes. We hope you have as much fun wearing the collection as we did designing it!"

My favourite parts of the collection are the beautiful floral prints, in particular the tie front crop top and cut out jumpsuit. Check out my picks from the collection below, ranging from super affordable to small savings prices.

Palozzo trousers: £40
White crotchet blouse: £38
Denim shorts: £30
Floral print maxi dress: £55
Angel sleeve top: £35
Varity slogan T: £30
Floral jumpsuit: £55
Slogan sweatshirt: £35
Floral print shorts: £30
Cream trench coat: £75
Black maxi dress: £55

The final bit of this post goes out to the beautiful Caitlyn Jenner. You are an inspiration to people everywhere, you have made history by appearing on the cover of Vanity Fair and by doing so you have made thousands of people’s lives that little bit easier. You are wonderful and sensationally beautiful and your family and the world support you.

Spring Clean: Life edition

For the last few months I've been pretty unhappy and stressed about they way my life is going. A lot of things have contributed to this, from the way I look, to university stresses, to my weight, sleeping pattern etc. and I just seem to have become a bit of a negative person over-all.

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm usually a very happy, loud, bubbly person, but lately a lot of friends and family have mentioned how I seem a lot quieter and that I've been staying in a lot more. I hadn't noticed until it was pointed out but now I have I plan on changing it!

I've decided to go on a bit of a life detox. I want to get back to the healthy, happy person I was this time last year. So to achieve a more ME me I'm giving my life, and attitude towards it, a good old fashioned spring clean.

First of all is the mental spring clean: I realised I spend so, SO much of my time sat flicking through pictures of more successful, richer, prettier, thinner, people on Instagram, and asking myself: "Why can't I do that?", "Why don't I look like that?" etc. and it was really starting to get me down.

I mean I know we all do it but why!? It really is ridiculous, like yeah sure we all have as many hours in a day as Beyoncé but we certainly don't all have her money! She can afford the best personal trainers, personal assistants, dieticians, make-up artists, stylists and more! So why do we even bother to compare? - Sorry Queen B but no more!

The solution? 'Unfollow'. Simple but genius right? I mean I love you Kimmy K but I don't need you, your million dollar wardrobe or your stupidly tiny waist in my life right now! Soz not soz hun.

I think us girls need to learn to be happy with all the good we have in life and work towards our own goals rather than comparing ourselves and our failures to other people's achievements and good fortune.

As for the physical spring clean: I've taken up a healthy skin care routine to keep those stress spots at bay. I've also banned foundation, and pore clogging products from my everyday routine to help my skin stay healthy and happy.

As well as that I've removed all drinks, except for water, from my life to help cleanse my body. I'm making sure I get my 5+ fruit and veggies a day and have started a course of vitamin D supplements to help treat my psoriasis naturally.

I've only been doing all this for a few weeks and I can already see such a huge difference in myself. My skin is clearer, my hair is healthier and I've even lost a bit of weight. All that plus early mornings and early nights are helping me to keep on track and stay positive in my final few weeks of University ever!

If you guys have any good tips for a lifestyle spring clean, or ways you stay positive in stressful times please share them below. Also if this post has helped anyone at all then please let me know by leaving a comment in the box below!
